There are classes for everyone - adults and children are welcome to the evening classes, and there is also a class for 4 to 10 year olds.

The first lesson is free, after that classes are £3 for the childrens' class, or £4 for children (under 18) and £6 for adults. No need to book, just turn up.

Friday roda 11th September

First, just a heads up, the following dates there won't be a class on Thursday, as it clashes with my day job as a science teacher - I need to be at an open evening and two parents' evenings on the following dates:

24th September
22nd October
17th December

As discussed at class last night, I'm in the process of seeing if I can find another venue on a Wednesday, just for those three weeks. My goal is to not cancel the class, but to move the day as a one off (well, a three off I suppose). I am aware that this won't be possible for everyone, but it's the best I can do.

As for the roda, here is Mestre Ray and Mestra Onça. I especially like how about half way in, you can see the game has clearly started, even before they crouch down to re-enter the roda. A nice reminder that as soon as you go into a roda, the game is on!
