Weekly update 4th September

Firstly, a big thank you to Professora Bia for her fantastic workshop yesterday. It was a great session, and lovely to meet her students too! A reminder that the workshop was to help raise funds for their family after their recent tragedy.

A thank you also to Phill and Saiya-jin for helping out at the Get Active Festival today - you can read more about that here.

There is a new Oficina da Capoeira CD out in Brazil, from Mestrando Gavial:

It will likely cost £15 - £20, and as soon as we have sorted out shipping some to the UK, we will know the exact cost, and when it will become arrive.

As mentioned last week, we have some other events on the horizon too:

I am pleased to announce that Mestrando Primo will be giving our annual end of January workshop! More details to come, but keep the Saturday 28th January free!

We will also have our annual end of May workshop on the last weekend of May. More details to come, but it will be on Saturday 27th or Sunday 28th May.

Also, keep the first weekend of August free. It will be our first festival, and a chance to get your first coloured corda. Again, more details will come soon!

We'll finish with a nice roda from Professor Neguinho, from Oficina da Capoeira in Belgium:
